Hosting options

Depending on your preference, Ozeki Chat Enterprise Edition can be hosted on Ozeki servers in the Ozeki Data Center, or if you wish to setup an on-permises system, you can install your chat system on a Windows or on Linux servers. On-premises installations are popuplar when keeping all you data in house is essential, and for air-gapped systems where Internet access is not an option.

Regardless of the hosting option you choose, you will have a private chat system, where you can create user accounts manually or automatically by setting up an authentiation provider to authenticate users. For user authentication you can use Microsoft Active directory, LDAP, SQL, HTTP and other methods.

Once your chat system is setup and ready to use, you can send out invitations in E-mail to your users with links they can use to download the chat clients. Your users can connect from your LAN or through the Internet (if allowed) to your chat system. They can use a webbrowser or an installed Ozeki Chat Client software to communicate with each other through this great communication channel.

  • Ozeki push notification forwarding can be used to reach iPhone, iPad and Android phones and tablets even if they are not connected to the chat server
